So I was thinking about making a video about why the Kikiyama interview is most likely fake. I already have a pretty good outline of what I am going to say but is there any good points I may have missed that would disprove it even more?

File: 1469555066274.jpg (101.03 KB, 960x524, psgbllsh.jpg)

It's the opposite. It would be hard to find any reasons to believe it.
Someone give me a reason of why this could be real.

>Anon posts interview with kikiyama with no sources

>belib pls
>Evron belibs

Just look at this, why on earth would anyone believe this could be real? http://archive.uboachan.net/yn/res/628.xhtml

Literally, no japanese version anywhere. Why? This would be very juicy information for the nips, however they know jack shit about it. How come an interview with a japanese developer is only published in english, and the source isn't provided for the overseas fanbase?

Also, every time kiki replied a mail, he used pretty short sentences, with a really neutral tone. However in this interview, the writing is way too fluid and spontaneous, and it could hardly come from a real japanese text, unless the translator took such liberties it literally sounds like a natural english post (which is really hard to do without crippling some of the original meanings/sentences). Moreover, if he replied mails in such a "I am not writing more than necessary" way, then why did he reply to an interview? He showed he was a really reserved person, and yet he replied to this? Sounds like bullshit.

so has anyone figured out a way to decompile YN into a format we can open with RPGM2K3? what if there are absurdly well-hidden things that we still havent come across?

Woah woah stop right there dear Anon! The S word is inappropriate language and it hurts new people's feelings!

Please don't make us look unfriendly!

uh guys this is my first post ever on this forum i am 12 and feel unsafe

File: 1469508622947.png (21.54 KB, 795x222, Sekaiju4.8_-_ゆめにっき.MID_201….png)

m8 those files have been checked five times over, there is nothing we don't know.

I even opened the one MIDI file from 2003 in a DAW to see if there was a name in the metadata. The song was copyrighted to a question mark. The fucker knew way back in 2003 we would try to find him out and even now he is laughing at us.

File: 1469390142569.png (12.9 KB, 628x477, NASU HS.PNG)

How good are you all at NASU?

Did a 9k score once.

I don't mean to brag but I am super MLG at the NASUs. I get paid around 52$ an hour to play NASU. I'll try to be humble about this but I'm kinda a big deal.

I think my highscore was around 31 and then I started to ponder the meaning of life and stopped

Wow Anon that's deep. Nasu = Meaning of life

>>5730 Hey, thanks! I saved it to my computer.

Now to on-topic matters, that's a good idea to celebrate! Not sure if it's encouraged to invite people on this website, though.

File: 1467085662141.jpg (91.32 KB, 850x680, _mahjong4.jpg)

If you faggots feel confident, I can create a riichi mahjong lobby and we can use it to play as celebration. The whole interface is in japanese though, so if you wanna hop you necessarily need to know at least how to read kana.

File: 1467088173566.jpg (359.76 KB, 847x1000, badwordsmiko.jpg)

Woah! Not so fast boy! The F word is way too mean for new people's sensitivity, it may hurt their emotions and they may think we are an unfriendly imageboard!
Please be kind!!1!

Is there a way to be a lurker in that site? I don't know how to play mahjong.

File: 1467161648125.jpg (98.54 KB, 1000x253, certain_pon.jpg)

Yes, you can watch the game from one of the player's perspective, and even watch replays later. I never tried doing it personally, though.
There doesn't seem to be much interest on doing it, sadly.

Hey there,

I stumbled across this tweet several days ago: https://twitter.com/BENIBEKO/status/306430906053312513

It's about the background in the witch event. I can't really read Japanese but it seems he found the source of the picture of background. However, I'm not really sure, if these images really fit. Maybe on the image from the game, the photographer was closer to the mountain chain. What do you think? Do you know anything about that?

It's just, that I really love the rooftop and the witch event. The background and OSTs of both are just really beautiful.

It's definitely the right mountain and angle, but based on the angles of the background mountains the shot from the game is indeed closer, and the clouds are different as well.

>I was told that Yume Nikki's witch event background scenery is from the Sankoji Temple in Kyoto. It certainly does have some resemblance.

Yeah, seems like it.

>the photographer was closer to the mountain chain.

It's just zoomed in.

It's interesting to know that Mado either lives in Kyōtō or has visited it.
I know japanese HS kids visit Kyōtō but I don't remember if elementary/middle school kids do; but if they do, that would give us some clues on her age, although she could also have gone there to visit relatives or something.

Lots of pics from Sankoji and around. If you look carefully to the ones showing mountains they are really damn close to it!

I have read the Yume Nikki manga but I'm unable to locate chapter 10 anywhere on the internet. At the end of chapter 9 it says it comes out May 2014

File: 1465708433023.jpg (94.2 KB, 1280x800, All.jpg)

It doesn't exist.

I wonder what the ending will be

File: 1465443701457.gif (191.16 KB, 644x888, 1248748146119.gif)

found a li'l something in the archives; dug around some more and found it was never really resolved.

involved this doujin; found a few useless links and the author's pixiv, but if anyone else remembers/can find anything else on it, that'd be really awesome

संस्कार [Sanskaara] (sacraments). Seems really interesting. I wonder if it actually mixes Buddhist concepts or if the artist was just a pretentious cunt.
I will check it later when I have more time.

File: 1465588343115.jpg (100.8 KB, 555x777, 1464938211965.jpg)

Well, long story short, it's a collaborative doujinshi produced by many artists in 2009 and it was worth 2k yens back then. Not only that, there's another manga made by the same people called "Saddharma", 308 pages.

Can't do more considering half the links are kill.

The translation project hasn't received any updates on the last 6 months, right?

File: 1465449814712.jpg (107.87 KB, 1280x720, to_aru_kagaku_no_railgun_s….jpg)

Page on Bakatsuki states that project was active in last 3 months. It was updated with new chapters in April 2015 last time, though.

File: 1465450074122.png (21.3 KB, 336x359, kohran.png)

It's rip in kill, one of the translators is wondering where the other guy went.
I could probably help, if I wasn't already working on so many stuff….

Guys please, learn moonrunes, it's easier than it seems. I promise. Having a team of moonmaids would speed all this stuff up.

So, I normally play YN and its fangames for the exploration and the effects. I love just wandering around and seeing all the neat things I can find.

I have to wonder if I'm missing something, though. I feel like I could be getting more out of it. I find myself just rushing through areas to get to the next ones and find the other effects.

Do you guys ever just walk around and take in the scenery? No bike or anything? Does it feel more fulfilling than collecting everything?

I hope this makes sense. I'm sorry if it doesn't. I just know there's something special about these games and I want to be able to appreciate them.

Keep in mind that Yume Nikki has a lot of repetitive large rooms with scenery that looks very similar.

that's one of my absolute favorite parts of Yume Nikki tbh, the scenery and the music

Would explain that mayan feel half of the backgrounds in the game have. Especially the monkeys in the forest. This really would explain so much and raise so many more questions.

Yeah, mayan…

Even if it wasn't intended, it's really fascinating that something like that figure would appear. Sychronicity.

File: 1465295180443.jpg (638.47 KB, 635x383, Paracas_mantle.jpg)

This is pretty cool, too. There's no doubt in my mind the game's imagery is based on the Paracas.

A lot of the figures from Paracas textiles that look like the "monkeys", especially the ones holding decapitated heads, are actually shamans in flight. In that respect, this is pretty relevant to the nature of the entire game:
