I'm still following it.
Reading Homestuck is kind of like dropping in on an unending party. If you look really hard you can see people passed out in the hallways and vomit on the floor and trash everywhere and it's just piling up, getting higher every time the strobe lights flash. So you don't look really hard.

bad metaphors aside, I read Homestuck purely for the spectacle. I don't care about the characters or the story beyond how hard Hussy can make me say "WOW!" on each page.
It's hard to explain. I guess it's what buying a prostitute would be like.

It's one of the best shows I've seen, period. I was so mad when I found out the last season only got half of the episodes. The networks told them to make it as dark as possible, they made it as dark as possible so they pulled it. I liked how it was just making fun of christians, but then it got just really good. I cried a few times watching it.

that was probably the best show i've ever seen on adult swim, and one of my favorites of all time

at first it was show that parodied classic christian programs and made fun of fundamentalism in a not so subtle way

and then at some point it became the story of a really good kid in a bad dysfunctional family trying to keep up his optimism

i think the very last episode ends with orel in a religious and successful, happy family. man, what a darn good show.

I didn't watch this show when it was running because it was too real and that was too depressing. and yes I do understand the irony of calling a claymation show "too real". It is a great show though, fantastic writing and direction.

It's on Netflix these days, but I don't know if they have the whole run or what

i wish there was more discussion about this show. I could watch the first chapter complete (and TRIED to watch more) and still i don't get why they like this show (saw many comments on youtube aboit how they liked this show).

I mindlessly hate it. Maybe it's the fact that they try to mimic anime somehow, but the culture implied in the show is empty and superficial. The characters don't even have any development in their personalities if i may say so. But the fact that annoyes me more is when they talk, move and think as if they are japanese.
To be specific, I hate the momments in which they exagerate their facial expressions and how the animators include sweatdrops, manga-like illustrations everywhere and the voices in the show. I don't know how this is considered appealing or fun.

However, I don't hate weeaboos, i mean, i can deal with them irl. I don't have any problem with animeish animation such as Avatar: The Last Airbender or Totally Spies (i didn't like this one at all, but it's not that annoying as "My Life Me" is).

The one thing about this show that sucks even more than the fact that it's awful is that it's not even one of those things that it is "so awful, it is fucking hilarious". It has it's moments, like watching that blonde kids glasses move around for no reason, or watching them kind of begin to do stereotype anime faces or stupid shit every few minutes, but this kind of just bores the shit out of me.

I want to like this, but the first episode was very blah for me.
A little too disconnected, too much stuff going on, I don't know how exactly to explain it. There wasn't any… buildup?

It's light, I think? Which is perfectly fine for a kid's cartoon. Just too light for me.

I love Blaise and his girl-friend's designs, though.

Kodomo no Jikan, an awesome manga/anime. The anime has two seasons I think, the manga has 82 chapters since saturday (and it got translated yesterday~) and is all awesome.
I love that series.

If I really wanted some loli action, I would read something other than KnJ.
I love it, a lot, but reading KnJ for loli is like ordering a bunch of steaks and eating just the garnishes.
