So, a long time ago, I came across a really nice comprehensive guide to learning Japanese, straight from the Internet Hate Machine itself:

Among the steps, the first thing he recommends is watching an alcohol-driven video series by a 20-something dude calling himself "Nama-Sensei". Nama-Sensei is vulgar as hell and not 100% accurate, but his videos are a fantastic starting point to learning Japanese. Even if you're not serious about learning moonrunes, they're an entertaining watch.

Hey, that'd be awesome! If you can't find a copy, I tracked down the raws the other week. Sadly, there's no real ending… Japanese Wikipedia seems to indicate the author couldn't keep up with the deadlines and had to discontinue it.

if the board name doesn't properly show up in the sidebar, you need to manually change its encoding to utf-8.
