Hello Uboachan, I'm Bal, also known as "Seagal" here, I finished working on my game.
You can download it here:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/y75wr6zwxbrw8yo/WarofExistenceFull.zipIt's an action/psychological game, it's been a long time, and I worked very hard on this.
It's a full game, functional and it has the best of me, made in RPG Maker VX Ace.
The game features a real time action battle system, fast moving scenarios and a lot of illustrations.
I recommend you to check the README before playing, it contains hints and a walkthrough.
Thanks for your time, I'll appreciate feedback, I hope you like it.
Plot:
War of Existence is set in a post apocalyptic scenario, a Divine Entity judged humans as an evil race and the extintion seems to be the only destiny for it.
The story follows a mysterious girl and a swordsman in the struggle for survival.

Finally, something to try on this board.

This game sounds interesting!
No.82
I finished it, I like it, the boss fights can be a little unbalanced, the game has some small errors here and there but it's fun.
I can't belive someone here actually made a game, and it's fucking Segal lol.
Maybe this board can live after all.

>>79Someone had to post a project sooner or later, I had my doubts about posting, since it would be the only game in catalog, but I hope people start posting here about their games in development or finished.
>>80Thank you Morgan, have a good day.
>>82I'm glad you liked it, and that's true, some bosses are strong and others are not, and they don't exactly appear in order, because of this sometimes you have to escape, or to wait for the timer, thank you for your feedback.
>Maybe this board can live after all.Let's hope for the best
No.85
>>83Thank you!
And yeah, surprised I haven't seen more games posted in here. Maybe I'll post mine in here? I'm making a non-traditional fangame and I posted it in the fangame board ages ago and it got quite a bit of backlash because it was my first time on ubuu and I had no idea the fangames posted on there were only the completed ones. I've been really hesitant to post about mine in its own thread due to this but now that I have more content maybe I'll make a post soon?
No.86
By the way I'm trying this game out tomorrow so I'll let you know what I think!
No.87
>>85I saw your thread there and your blog, I'm sure that, if you have some in-game content to show, like a screen capture or two of your fangame, it's okay for you to start a thread about it.
For example Elysium City started a thread with just a week of development:
>>>/fg/3411Started with Dev talking about their ideas, a few posts later we could see some art and screenshots, everyone loved it in the end.
Another example is Broken Bottles, it started with a video I think, both started with little to show, and both gave great products.
It's great to see how a project starts and follow the updates and changes it suffers until it becomes playable, for longer projects like Broken Bottles you can even see in the end how the devs improved.

Cool! This is certainly a must play for me. Do you have an idea of the game’s playtime?
No.90
>>893 hours at most. It really depends a lot on how fast you kill/run.
No.93
>>90Thank you for answering. Then maybe I’ll be able to complete it tonight.
No.95
>>93Thanks for your interest Anon.
>>94Well, about that ending, I actually included that phrase because the player really did great to get there, literally the same effort than reaching the real ending.
Thank you for the feedback, knowing all the points of view helps me a lot, I really appreciate it.
No.96
>>87I'll try posting about it once I have some good screenshots! Tilesets are killing me right now hahaha. But I loved those games, and that's so cool that you can just see the improvement. I read the Broken Bottles one, it was so cool. I have tons of concept art but I haven't really taken many screenshots yet cause it's not much of a looker as of now

Did the real author actually reply to you?
No.98
Is that the real author?!

>>100Thank you for reporting it, key items don't need to be added in the hotkey bar, unlike weapons and skills.
I didn't think there could exist a conflict between the key items and the events.
That's a very good find anon, thanks a lot.

If you really really liked War of Existence, here's my previous work, Path of Humanity, a prequel to the events in WoE with Samanta as main character.
Just in case you want to know more about Seki and Sam's backstory.
This game is very different though, it was made in RPG Maker 2003, and it's a 0.01 version, however, the storyline is complete and it has one ending.
Since I made it in 2013, obviously, its graphics and game mechanics are not even close to War of Existence in quality, and it's 100% a survival game.
Only try this if you played and enjoyed War of Existence, or you won't understand much, and contains spoilers of the ending:

Great job, bosses can be very challenging and there's a lot of action, I can't belive fucking seagal keeps the board alive, the irony hurts.
There will be a sequel, right?
No.120
>>119I know you like the irony…
I haven't announced it yet, but, as the ending implied there will be a second part, again, a third person real time action game, but in 3D, I'm using Unity.
I started working on it but I'm taking it easy, a lot of things may change so giving an ETA would be magic fantasy.
No.139
>>133I'm glad you like it Anon, I'm saving that image.
I announced the sequel in my blog
http://balthasar02.tumblr.com/Some of you may remember I posted about this project in 2012, since then, I got a lot of support from Uboachan, critics, advice and help in general.
Time keeps going and I hope to see you all when I release this new game.
Files show Azul's new look.
