Hell it’s existence might’ve even caused ynoproject to be created in the first place i mean this fandom probably died in the 2010s after dream vs dream’s cancellation (unless Undertale brought it back for a bit I dunno I left the 2010s fandom then) but after omori came out slowly but surely the yume nikki fandom was being revived and then ynoproject got created and that’s when shit truly hit the fan I know omori’s own fandom itself is shit but a ton of people I knew in the 2020s yume nikki fandom got into it because of omori
And it all basically leads back into yume 2kki’s fall from grace
