I have tons of more dream related songs, but that's probably the most 'dream-y'. I am working on a couple more. Maybe I'll make a thread.

>>45OP your art is fantastic, could we get a bit of a story with who the person is?
No.417
>>412That's mine.
And I posted the backstory in the original thread that's in the archive.
But the tl;dr version is that he was a doppelganger that can impersonate other people.
He can also sort of read your mind. If you even begin to suspect he isn't the person he's pretending to be he would suddenly reveal this "true face" sort of thing and would suddenly attack you. His face would constantly shift around and looked like wet paint. (And I never ever have any sort of bright color in my dreams so it was really odd).
That drawing in pretty old so I'd like to try again sometime soon.

>>912This reminds me of Aztec mythology, many of there deities and religious ceremonies are connected to or involve obsidian.
In fact Ītzpāpālōtl ("Obsidian Butterfly") was a skeletal warrior goddess.

"The Silverfish. An elderly man who loves to play dice, and kills anyone who loses. And he never loses."
No.915

oddly enough the civilization in my dream did remind me vaguely of aztec construction, but only vaguely. hm.

It's therapy to draw what we see in dreams. It subconsciously reminds us that we are what we dream, and that what we dream is dependent upon us for existence, and could therefore never actually hurt us.
Unfortunately I was hit hard in the head as a child and my hands shake continuously, so I can't draw what I see in dreams.
Just for the record though, when my dreams aren't bright and happy I'd rather NOT draw what I see, as if often is by turns bosche and giger influenced.
No.917
>>916for me the urge to draw stuff from my dreams is less therapeutic and more because my dreams tend to fade really quickly and i want to have something to remember them, but i can see where you're coming from.
i don't have scary things in my dreams too often; even the ancient guardians weren't really frightening to me. so i mostly just concentrate on things that I find interesting.
pic related, old painting of a dream room i never finished

No.1041
>>1032The arrows are supposed to be those arrows on a Stepmania game. I put them there because this dream seems to have been inspired by a picture of a Noodleperson playing Stepmania that is currently somewhere on Uboachan. No idea why a chibi Noodleperson that speaks in arrows is burning cereal, though.

>>1092I'll tell you guys the part where she appeared.
So I went through a tube and went to a fenced-off outside area and "Lucy" was standing on the opposite side of where I was, back turned.
Apparently I walked over to her out of curiosity and when I got close, she turns around.
At this point, her skin turned a rustic, orange color, her eyes "morph" together to form one big eye, and she opens her mouth revealing countless, thick, flat-ended "tentacles".
And then it ends there.

Thread necromancer here again.
Here's a lazy environment sketch I did of part of an interesting location I dreamed up not too long ago (yes, I know, it's killyourself-mode bad, deal with it). It was some kind of boarding school which would randomly switch between being a school, a prison, and a massive shopping mall. Strangely enough, no one in the dream noticed when it changed–except me. When it would become a prison, every student, including myself, became a prisoner, and every shopper who'd been visiting the mall became a spectator/visitor who'd come to gawk at us. Its appearance as it changed from one form to the next fluctuated, but the basic structure/layout remained the same.
