I'm probably just going to be called a faggot for this, but I had a dream that I was spiritually connected to kris deltarune. It was nice to be able to live in the skin of an actually interesting person for once, and I was intrigued by the idea. Have any of you experienced life as Madotsuki or Sabitsuki?

I also know that schizophrenics suffering from dissociative identity disorder sometimes create alter egos based upon fictional characters or celebrities in order to cope; is there a way to induce this? I don't just mean an imaginary friend or hypnosis. I guess it might make things awkward around my "friends", but I don't really care.

have you tried looking into tulpamancy? you can't really just induce schizophrenia or did and it seems like your view of the two conditions is rather skewed

Ah, how so? I don't really know that much about the subject other than what I've osmosed, so please, tell me if I'm missing something. Also, can you explain to me a little bit more about what tulpamancy is? I know that it's summoning a bound spirit with certain chosen characteristics, but that's once again a pretty shallow pop-culture definition of things. I do genuinely want this, though; I'm not being quirky or disingenuous.

well first of all comparing did and schizophrenia is a common mistake even though they are very different conditions, in relation to did i think you may be thinking of "fictives", which i've also osmosed and can't really talk about since i don't have did
as for tulpas i think you should ask around 4chan's /x/ (i think they may have a tulpa general) and also just search it up since it's a pretty old concept so i'm sure you'll find some guides, there are also communities on sited like reddit and youtube
so that's basically it gl;hf

Ahh, I was under the impression they were part of the same general nebula of conditions, like how dementia can encompass a range of behavourial and cerebral declines. Are there any none-quirk chungus resources on fictives?

>plebbit

Just rape me already

Is there an easy way to index posts on ubuu? I think I saw some tulpa discussion ages ago, but as far as I know there's no search function, so it might be pretty hard to find. Or maybe this could function as basically a new tulpa thread, who knows.

I did a little research on tulpas (ie: one wikipedia article lmao) and I think this is kind of what I was looking for. I think an imaginary friend is too utilitarian of a phenomenon to be what I'm looking for. You mentioned plebbit; are there any marginally-better-than-abysmal-dogshit subplebbits that spring to mind?

On another note, I was sleeping today and I dreamed of a deeply loving and spiritual connection to some sort of emaciated bird-ghost-girl-thingy. It looked like a phyrexian from Mtg or maybe some sort of lost in vivo monster? It loved me back, despite me invoking it like a phasmophobia ghost.

I find that a lot of my recent dreams have encompassed finding a "soulmate" or vivid, powerful inner peace through a transformation of some kind; is this common among other hikkineets? Please let me know
