Oh yesssss, my suggestion got picked! Yippee! ^__^

Either way - theoretical physics. What's your take on them? Most advanced science depends on theories. Dark matter? Strings? Should we confide in these and try to explain things further based on what we think we know, or look for solid ground first? Let me hear your opinions. :>

And if you don't have much to contribute to this topic, general sciency videos thread.

SUP KID
Theoretical physics is ballin as fuck, though I generally disregard the actual equations of it. I focus more on the theories rather than actually trying to prove it. Michio Kaku is a good author you might want to look into, he has extremely interesting way of presenting Multiple Dimensions, wormholes, ect, ect.

This conversation should turn into a "Alien" conversation. I for one, completely believe in aliens. I just don't think there is any reason for them to visit Earth.

OH HELLO THERE KIND SIR.

>Theoretical physics is ballin as fuck<….>I focus more on the theories rather than actually trying to prove it

THIS, all of my this. That's where the fun comes in! I think it's better to create several theories that could be possible, and then test test test! But the best part is the stage before that, as you're not limited by current technology and BAM, suddenly the world makes sense. And discussing theories is great. _(.^.)_

>Michio Kaku

I've listened to several lectured by this guy. Fascinating stuff.

As for aliens, it's way more likely they exist than not, considering the amount of planets JUST in our galaxy. [http://tinyurl.com/73jpfxh]

That's because you don't understand them.
>Michio Kaku
No. Pop-sci != theoretical physics.
>I for one, completely believe in aliens. I just don't think there is any reason for them to visit Earth.
So deep, brah.

Just no.

Close this topic. It's an embarrassment.

shitty posts aside, there's only so much you can glean from an imageboard.

You wouldn't have the privilege of even conceiving transhumanity if not for your ordinary, inherent humanity, you silly existentialist.

Maybe you can't understand this, but one would have to be mentally handicapped to believe anyone in here actually knows what they're talking about, much less you. So go work that stick out of your ass and let people have their fun
