I had shit taste in games back than but somehow I became one of the top people to document rare or unknown (personally discovered) glitches and cheats in Pokemon Yellow some old webcircles.

I was just… really fucking obsessed.

My first game ever was Diddy Kong Racing on the N64. Pokémon, Mario, and Spyro (manly it's because of finding a Spyro figure in a cereal box, and I had one from a school boot fair)

My Pokémaniacs.
I love Pokémon. Been into it since the summer leading up to it's US release in 1998. I still play RB mostly, but sometimes GS. Always the latest game. The most recent games I've played multiple times were Platinum, and also BW, but I can't stand BW now.
I could never trust somebody if they liked PlayStation stuff. Sega was still the enemy too, but at least they had some quality games.

I just scored a Japanese Green version in a lot that I recieved, but I'm suprised to find out the Japanese versions are worth less than the originals, even new.

Japanese versions of most old cart games tend to be cheaper than their American counterparts. If you got RGB in box, you also got a physical town map. I have JP Red and Green in box, but no box for my copy of Blue. Blue is the most different for Americans, I think? Unknown Dungeon is a different layout. Red/Green just have different sprites. You can do some sweet glitches in Japanese RGB, like "beating" the game in 5 minutes. For the English release, they fixed a lot of the bugs (still leaving many, ha).
