except that's not a star. It's a meteor.

Except that there is also a thing where if you wish on the first star you see at night, your wish may be granted

the first glowing objects that appear in the sky when it gets dark are satellites. And Venus.

That means wishes do get granted, not by heavenly bodies, but by human hands and the goddess of ecchi matters

It's possible to see Mercury as the 'first star', too.

Now you're just being asinine, not everyone lives in a smog-filled city surrounded by satellites

 No.2505

you know. I was that star. Maybe not me as a person, but part of me definitely was that star.

I know that. I've lived in the countryside for 5 years. You can see satellites+venus/mercury first no matter where you are. You don't have to live in a city. If it's smog-filled as you say, you won't be able to see much apart from that, but that's not what I was implying. First =/= all. Even if it was a star you wished on, many of the stars we see are still alive and well.

That's not even the point, I was just trying to be annoying. This image is old, the joke it's trying to make is scientifically inaccurate and unfunny, and I don't particularly like people who use :c or other smileys to open threads.

>there are no satellites in countryside
>that is because satellites don't circle the Earth, but big cities

I hope you don't really mean to say satellites gather around big cities.

>smog-filled city

It's not any smog that makes it hard to see. It's all the lights.

All I know is that I've been to the countryside and able to see stars and what weren't satellites.

Well, last time I checked, those aren't stars.

All I know is I've been to a small city and seen stars and what weren't satellites.
