Well, it's a hidden board. It's there mostly to keep stuff out of the public while keeping it on the server for reference.

By checking the console, cancelling the sign in fetches 401 errors for the image on /thrash/, amongst other issues as you can see in the attached image, like 'BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT'.

https://uboachan.net/trash/index.html kept throwing the sign in prompt and fetched 401 errors for the attached images.

https://uboachan.net/trash/res/808.html throws them all in the Chrome's console every few seconds if auto-update is checked (evident if you are on another tab in Chrome, Uboa has a little blue dot alongside them).

Via the Network section on Chrome's inspection, the error reads:

A couple of yellow errors on Chrome's console read:
DevTools failed to load source map: Could not load content for chrome-extension://fheoggkfdfchfphceeifdbepaooicaho/sourceMap/chrome/scripts/iframe_form_detection.js.map: System error: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT

Accessing the image (in a new tab) gave me a sign-in prompt (like all images on /thrash/). Upon cancelling it, I've got a blank page reading "401 Authorization Required; nginx/1.18.0".

Is this a login/auth block? Seems to not be like Twitter and Facebook, not going to lie.

Lot of images on /thrash/ fetch the same problems; is this a login wall? Is this similar to any of these links? If not, what's going on?

The /trash/ board exists for me to store threads which I wanted to remove but also keep elsewhere for later reference, possible reversal, or because there's some value in doing so. It's not meant for users to view, in fact not even the mod staff have the password currently. Someone forgot to uncheck the box to leave a shadow thread when moving something there.

This is so awesome, but this does not solve the issue of login window popping up whenever you check /recent/.

… I wonder if removing the >>4037 post with trash board link from the last five visible ones would work.

Yep, problem solved. Whoever posts a link to the trash board next time will be sentenced to three hours of twit- I mean x.com browsing.
