Can't something be done about it? It's starting to make me scared to come here.

>>2468>>2469I mentioned before but i think the daily captcha like 8chan or if possible a weekly one would be good. I have no idea if its possible though.
No.2472
>>2470>>2469We already implemented captchas once, it didn't work. Moreover, this very same spam is being posted in 8chan too, so it wouldn't be too effective either.
>>2466Why is it?

>>2466>>2472duhhh i think it might be because of the actual cp images that accompany those posts

We keep having this thread, and there's still not a whole lot I can do. If the documentation was less didn't-exist, I would have implemented a word or phrase filter by now, but I bet I can still figure that out. Once-a-day captchas are an 8chan-specific feature, and it sounds like it isn't helping them anyway. So all you can really do about it immediately is wait for the staff to find them as they appear. I wonder if there's literally a person behind this since the spam always looks the same.

>>2472I thought the spam on 8chan was a case by case basis though. Like actually someone posting it, not a bot. I've only seen one post at a time and rarely.

>>2469woah filters is a good idea, there's a lot of words that are pretty safe to include that I never see outside of the context of the awkward speech pattern of pornbots
>>2478>>2479I'm gonna be 22 in February but I respect your headcannons

>>2480Yeah I've just got to make time to go through the code or find an existing copy of the original wordfilter documentation (tinyboard.org is gone). Maybe google has a cache.

Upon further investigation blocking the spam posts based on a word/phrase filter will be impossible (or require a lot of analysis) since the bots have countermeasures such as randomizing what's in the post body.
