>>2226It's really sad to see how little by little people is leaving this shithole.
I wonder where all the people who claimed this place was special for them (and that aren't here anymore) are now. Liars.

does anyone else sometimes lurk the archive and pretend that this place is still an active community? ;_;
No.2257
Well I'm quite late here, and although I've only been visiting Ubuu since late 2013, I'm sad to see another piece of this crumbling ruin fall away. I met my only friends here, and it was the very first community among hundreds that I've been a transient part of, that made me feel any sense of belonging. I don't consider myself to comprise any significant percentage of the community (in fact, I feel I'm more of a nuisance than anything else) but as long as I'm here, whoever it is that's leaving will always have someone to miss them. Goodbye, Pretzel.
>>2227>I wonder where all the people who claimed this place was special for them (and that aren't here anymore) are now. Liars.Well, I don't blame most of them for leaving; we all have to leave home some day. And honestly, some of the people who left, left for very good personal reasons - reasons that made this place no longer feel like home to them.
I, on the other hand, out of some twisted sense of fidelity, will be here until the place is shut down for good. You can be sure of this - a combination of loyalty, loneliness and stubborn refusal to face the reality of its decay, imprisons me here. And so I stay, like a dog lying dutifully at the feet of its dying master.

>>2257>Well, I don't blame most of them for leaving; we all have to leave home some day. That's exactly my point. Back in, say, 2011-2012, "I love you ubuu" and "I will never leave this place" were so common you would read it every 4 or 5 threads. Where are these people now?
I don't really wanna write it all again so I'll paste post I made in /x/:

>And honestly, some of the people who left, left for very good personal reasons - reasons that made this place no longer feel like home to them.I think I can already see where this is coming from, so I will just state I didn't imply anyone in special with my previous post.
>And so I stay, like a dog lying dutifully at the feet of its dying master.I salute you, regular-san. It's good to know there's more people who will sink with the boat here than just me.
No.2260
I still lurk here and I have been visiting at least 2x a week since 2011. I just don't post!
Don't feel so alone!

I-It's nice to know you're still here ;_;.
No.2262
>>2261It's been going pretty well! It's fun working. This month I have two visual novels to write music for (in addition to some other games which don't have a solid deadline looming)
But yup, I never really left! The whole section of the board I frequent has just become relatively inactive and a lot of "old blood" has either gotten busy or left.
No.2263
>>2262Oh that's cool! I really like your chiptune stuff, as well as the more natural sounding stuff from the earlier Hell Diary and also, I believe it was Amihailu? Your compositions are always nice.
No.2266
Well if you enjoyed the games anon, Amihailu will be updating before long and I've got ideas for a sim/adventure that builds on the stuff I've done in previous projects and snippets and adds much more. I also wrote some scripts that I can use for them too—but time will tell as I have been very busy with outside work (and Cities: Skylines!)
