While I can get behind the lower specs allowing for a lower price tag, and even the slow load times are at worst mildly irritating, but the build quality is laughable. I've had two joy-cons outright break on me; not succumb to drift, just straight up stop working. Add that on top of the laughable fact that you need to pay money to play online (although this is symptomatic of a wider collapse of the gaming market) and you've got a recipe for royally pissing me off.
On the other hand, I adore the switch lite. My sister has one, and it feels solid and chunky. I honestly wish they had just released that and called it a day.
