initially when I realized I had lice in my hair I'd left it for a very short time purposefully to just lay there, as if to challenge myself, I'd said so to myself, but in retrospect it spiraled out of control very fast and now all I see is lic. Please help

I know you can't read this but you should really consider talking to your healthcare professional as there are specific chemical treatments to murder them most of the time.

Around my childhood time there was a saying that you don't want to catch lice as then you would have to go bald for a month.

That's rough anon. Sorry to hear it, I remember having lice as a kid and they drove me up the wall. If you've tried chemical treatments and they haven't worked, best to just shave your head and pray that it grows back quickly. Depends on your preference; I would rather look like Jim Hopper in season 4 than have little men draining my head of blood.

When I was a kid I didn't even think it was that bad that I had lice cause I could skip a few days off school. I could only imagine what other kids said about me www

You should totally check out whatever magic ointments you use to kill them. I have this soap called Dr. Bronner's, It looks like cleaning solution but it's pretty cool. Just find anything lol, it would suck you have to ditch your hair over lice
