basically this, lainchan, 4chan /vr/ for retro gaming stuff and /out/ because i want to learn how to camp and go outside more and the emulator wiki. but i try not to visit websites on the regular and use the internet as it was supposed to: a shared manual you can visit to do real life stuff. that's why i have a lot of bookmarks from various pages.
i used to be a regular on onion chans but honestly it's just the same reiterated shit seen on clearnet, not worth it imo, people think it's a l33t haxx0r's nest when it's just 4chan /pol/, /g/ and /r9k/ x10
i do wish i could find something better than 4chan for /vr/ and /out/ though…

Aside from this place, there's sushigirl, wapchan and hikari3.ch which are nice and a couple older textboards like 4-ch /dqn/. I still use 4chan for esfores and some of the niche hobbyist boards but I wish there was a better alternative. Lainchan just gets worse and worse. Leftypol's /edu/ board used to be okay but the whole site is just Stalinist /pol/ cancer. I spend most of my time exploring archive org, occult and paranormal sites, buddhist websites, winworld, retro gaming and abandonware sites.

Yea the internet is supposed to be a tool with more limited use case, that's the way I think too recently
