I used to run this old program

How old is your PC dude? My 10yo dual-core bitch can handle this site just fine. Then again, I use towers. If you're on a laptop, almost anything will cause a noticeable increase in fan RPM. Especially if it's an older one that hasn't had its fan cleaned in forever.
