I think i understand where OP's hate is coming from. Teenagers can be quite annoying (and they're easy to distinguish here). And the nature and atmosphere of the posts here are not to OP's liking. I have to admit that it irks me a bit, too.

While Yume Nikki is a highly subjective work of art and as such is left to interpretation, you need to keep in mind that what you are dealing with here is a fanbase. The bad thing about mixing a highly experimental, subjective work with a fanbase is that a fanboy's/girl's personality is a collective. I think part of the 'fan' mindset is to do with attaching the ideas and themes of whichever work they're fans of to their otherwise empty personalities, which results in them being a bunch of pseudo-intellectuals in that they are able to be praised for even the tiniest of original thoughts due to the underdeveloped personalities and notions of creativity the rest of the fanbase holds.
