Hi, I'm the one who made the original Junko v 1.02 post (and who helped search for it on reddit). Since I haven't seen anyone comment on it, I recently went to the YNOnline page and saw that a mysterious door appears at the top and if you click on it, it takes you to a semi-mysterious image.

It turns out that this is about a new project called "Collective Unconscious" and of which I took some images on Twitter. What do you think?

I'm not clairvoyant, but looking at release dates of the previous development builds, I see the pattern of them making new builds every ~3-4 months, so you might expect the new build this autumn.

Although, I believe they might take more time for it. They have already released the game, there's no need to rush things. And the amount of contributions has probably dropped by some amount, if not down to zero.

That's good to hear! I've enjoyed playing that to unlock wonderful OSTs in the game; my version is 0.10 straight from the archive. Hopefully 0.20 should go to the archive as well, and that 0.21 brings quality-of-life bugfixes and improvements. They're still working on the game, and I'm looking forward to new effects, NPCs and locations in the future.

I found this Discord post through Tumbig (a Tumblr mirror) where NacreMoon announced they would delete their Discord server, and this SHOCKED me, possibly because I may have not paid any attention to CU or otherwise.

They said about a version of CU (Ver 0.3.0) being cancelled over… way too much hype. Planning would have taken "a few months" but NacreMoon was angry at everyone on the server for… ruining things.

For me, I was thinking about Ver 0.3.0 to bring certain maps back from the brink of 0.2.0 and the fix of error codes when accessing Shadow Sentinel and certain sounds not working with the Kalimba effect (via downloading from your archive, thank you!), in general, as well as quality of life improvements and bugfixes.

This is a shocker and hasn't been mentioned anywhere, so one of my questions is has NacreMoon quit from the CU dev team?

Few questions for you:
- Have you got a list of CU devs?
- Had you heard the news on this (via Discord or Tumblr)? If so, how did you react?
- If you checked the developer list, when could they reinstate the Discord server and go back to updating the game?

The thing that broke it for me was Ver 0.2.0, as people had pointed out in the previous, but I didn't know THIS happened. :(

I saw that the player count had grown in size via YNOProject; is this Version 0.3.0?

From what I've seen, people were talking about new worlds, and sharing a screencap of a black and white area.

However, people had started getting problems when loading the YNOProject page for CU, like it takes a long time to boot up. Another one was one of the images failed to load and closed(?) the game while on the controls, I'm glad it was fixed with a simple refresh.

This build now has online-only variables, so you'd have to edit the game to support some features. Hopefully it diverges more and becomes an actual MMOynfg. It's only just exciting.
Bit of a shame we could lose a lot of history. They've already silently patched this version once or twice. Although I doubt even hardcore fans would want "the same version but with softlocks".
