> I also wish for CU version 1 to be archived to keep the affected maps. It's in the archive under "ver.Release Build (10.06.2024)" name. Feel free to dig in.

>>16247Got both of them, really great that they both run on the EasyRPG emulator than one for full screen RPGMaker YNFGs.
Okay, a few questions:
>When will new maps be released?>When will the Shadow Sentinel event be fixed?>Could anybody update the wiki for this YNFG with a Version History page and/or update the pages for maps in post #16239?Also, some OSTs got removed in the recent build FYI.
I felt that it seemed similar to Wataru's removal of their maps/OSTs back in an old version of Yume 2kki (before a year later that they reuploaded them again). Speaking of, I am really keen to know what happened to Wataru before removing their assets. Was this because those were stolen assets? Or was it because they left the team?

>Could anybody update the wiki for this YNFG with a Version History page and/or update the pages for maps in post #16239?You can do that yourself, YNFG wiki can be edited by
only members approved by staff anyone.
> Speaking of, I am really keen to know what happened to Wataru before removing their assets. Was this because those were stolen assets? Or was it because they left the team? You better go to
child grooming center Yume 2kki Discord server with such questions, I'm sure they can tell.

>>16257>next development buildI've been waiting for a new build of CU because when I checked YNOProject, only around 30-40 people had joined the game online, and it's so disappointing after the recent changes. I've been waiting for a couple of months for a new CU patch, but when will they release it? I want the devs to update CU like how Yume 2kki gets updated every so often, with oodles of strange new worlds to explore.
You said devs are taking their time to work on this.
>>16211The dev in question made eerie/relaxing music for this game, had you forgotten how much their music is amazing in CU?
No.16284
>>16280I'm not clairvoyant, but looking at release dates of the previous development builds, I see the pattern of them making new builds every ~3-4 months, so you might expect the new build this autumn.
Although, I believe they might take more time for it. They have already released the game, there's no need to rush things. And the amount of contributions has probably dropped by some amount
, if not down to zero.
> only around 30-40 people had joined the game onlineNow divide this number by 10 and you'll get the amount of
active players, who actually plays the game instead of dangling in the nexus and chatting, lol.

>calling CU "CUnny game"Unfortunately, I don't like you calling this game "CUnny game" at all; firstly because you've said it too much, and I'd prefer it if you called it "Collective Unconscious" or JUST "CU". "CUnny game" is basically offensive.
Anyway, the music in the game takes you to amazing places, with some haunting than others (compare Dohus' allmydays to Guhadeen's ans3 here:

>>16328When did Collective Unconscious update? Just asking. Interestingly, you can put your own music to the game by adding the music you want, and then replacing its name.
Off the beaten track, you had caused a lot of drama over an offending term that I OBJECT against.
>>16330>>16335>>16332>>16334Guys, STOP offending the game please. I'd prefer it as CU or Collective Unconscious otherwise go somewhere else.
>>16337You added more fuel to the drama over calling Collective Unconscious by an offensive name. If this continues, then leave the thread and stay away.
>>16335That's good to hear! I've enjoyed playing that to unlock wonderful OSTs in the game; my version is 0.10 straight from the archive. Hopefully 0.20 should go to the archive as well, and that 0.21 brings quality-of-life bugfixes and improvements. They're still working on the game, and I'm looking forward to new effects, NPCs and locations in the future.

>>16339About a month ago, silly. You mentioned this update just now in your own response.
> you had caused a lot of drama over an offending termI don't see any drama whatsoever regarding "CUnnygame" name. Unless you mean this thread in particular. In that case, you're the only one causing drama by being mad over it. You could've simply ignore it, you know?
Also, the actual drama fuel right now is the current hoster of your CUnny game and YNO as a whole. Why won't you take care of that instead?

>>16345Not really mad, but I got defensive at least, sorry. However, I'm looking forward to new improvements in the future like Yume 2kki/Dream Diary 2 does every once in a while, so what are the improvements for Collective Unconscious version 0.21? I'm glad version 0.20 fixed the softlock bug in Sun Forest.

No.16390
>>16352Glad to hear about it! YNOProject had recently added new YNFGs but Collective Unconscious still remains the best YNFG for many years to come; hopefully they'll add new content and entice new and existing players into the game in the future. Now the wiki's got a version history page:
https://yume.wiki/unconscious/Version_History>>16239This came from a Google Drive link since that's present in the link above.
Anyway, I found on Twitter that new maps are on the way.
>>16235Actually, I've read that the update included general bugfixes (except the Shadow Sentinel event for unknown errors IDs, which still needs a fix), like OSTs not unlocking properly.
Still enjoying V0.1, but now *cough* autism *cough* I feel like wanting some maps back in an update because this was like a shot to my heart (which V0.1 still has).

No.16450
>>16445I found this Discord post through Tumbig (a Tumblr mirror) where NacreMoon announced they would delete their Discord server, and this SHOCKED me, possibly because I may have not paid any attention to CU or otherwise.
They said about a version of CU (Ver 0.3.0) being cancelled over… way too much hype. Planning would have taken "a few months" but NacreMoon was angry at everyone on the server for… ruining things.
For me, I was thinking about Ver 0.3.0 to bring certain maps back from the brink of 0.2.0 and the fix of error codes when accessing Shadow Sentinel and certain sounds not working with the Kalimba effect (via downloading from your archive, thank you!), in general, as well as quality of life improvements and bugfixes.
This is a shocker and hasn't been mentioned anywhere, so one of my questions is has NacreMoon quit from the CU dev team?
Few questions for you:
- Have you got a list of CU devs?
- Had you heard the news on this (via Discord or Tumblr)? If so, how did you react?
- If you checked the developer list, when could they reinstate the Discord server and go back to updating the game?
The thing that broke it for me was Ver 0.2.0, as people had pointed out in the previous, but I didn't know THIS happened. :(

>>16452I have not been in bad faith, I was addressing some sad news (if you think that's the case), that's all. Another question I'd like to ask you is, how active is/was the CU Discord server?

>>16456>it wasn't posted in Collective Unconscious' actual Discord server, it's from Collective Unconscious' channel on YNOProject's DiscordSo maybe we can't expect something to happen, right? So the general gist is that there's huge hype over an update to CU that led right into… this drama. I didn't see that coming, but then I'm thinking QoL improvements to a YNFG that felt similar to 2kki's in terms of big open world. I mean, I don't mind being patient, but life's full of ups and downs.

Since there's no version history for this yet, I'll go over a few things, not a lot:

New maps if you want a look-see:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-ja5dcgIIl6Gi1ZDkAhZXyVE6sO32L_5FR3CG_AHido/editBody Bog got re-released but not Orchid Haven after that GOD-AWFUL 16 July 2024 update, while the Shadow Sentinel event should be fixed (I mean, working properly without "unknown event" ids).
Will there be a archived copy of this out in the wild, too?

No.16488
>>16484It looks like a fine update. Too bad for me that the website won't work on my phone.
I wonder if the same anon who shared the first build is around to scrape off the last.
This build now has online-only variables, so you'd have to edit the game to support some features. Hopefully it diverges more and becomes an actual MMOynfg. It's only just exciting.
Bit of a shame we could lose a lot of history. They've already silently patched this version once or twice. Although I doubt even hardcore fans would want "the same version but with softlocks".
No.16492
Some "assets" have been "passing around", so as long as at least one of those people are willing to use and share it, we hopefully won't be missing anything. If only the devs weren't so hush-shush, it could have been a lot nicer than this.
