No.367
>>365pretty sure, its been a while. went through some bad stuff and i lost a lot of my comics n such. I had a some issues of JTHM and I had the 10 year anniversary edition that had all the comics compiled together, and I had the Squee book, which had some comics if i recall correctly, with Johnny in it.
I also had some issues of I Feel Sick. Sadly All of that was thrown out when we lost our house :C
also, that art isnt mine, I'll just clarify to make sure. I found it looong ago on a cute male board of all places.
No.368
Well that's pretty cool. I really like the dark themes in JTHM, so I thought there might be some YN fans that would like it, too.
No.681
yay, Johnny. I read these comics so much in middle school. still have a ratty t-shirt from back then.
No.683
two of my friends collected those back in the day when it was hard to find shit. they had to go like 40 minutes away to buy them…
I never read them all in order but they were great, probably the first "internet fandom" I was exposed to that was shitty and borderline illiterate even though it was for something good that had to be read
incidentally those two were the smartest girls I knew

>>670 Hahaha, awesome!
>>681 Reading these in middle school? How did you resist the urge to murder everyone? xD
>>683 Now a days you can find them in a few secluded bookstores, but the best place to get them is online.
I remember buying my now-ex-girlfriend every single one of the original comics. Should have kept them.. bitch.xD

I've been interested in this comic ever since I got into Invader ZIM as a kid, but I've never actually been able to read it. ;-;

I really enjoyed JTHM back when I was in high school. When I found my director's cut book a few weeks ago, I decided to read it again, and I found it much less enjoyable.
No.845
>>844right. it still scores best among its target demographic, and probably always will

But yes, I absolutely love the series.

No.1054
>>963I have the director's cut in hardback as well as triplicates of a few comics. I gave away my copy of SQUEE! a long time ago. Jhonen is writing for Bravest Warriors last I heard, linked

Read it, never liked it - the kind of substanceless droll that passes off as avantgarde nowadays.
No.1056
>>1055It's called "nonsense". It is a style of English much like Alice in Wonderland. Deal with it.
No.1057
>>1056JTHM has zero to do with nonsense as a literary device (a la Alice), and you would know that if you read up on the basics of literary theory. Deal with it.
No.1058
>>1057It was certainly used as a literary device in the Happy Noodle Boy strips. At any rate, JTHM is much more than substanceless.
Once you see it, bricks.

>>843Oh, yeah I know it's much different. I just found about it through liking ZIM and looking into Jhonen's other works.
