I always thought this, too. When you think about it… when Mado went to jump, her eyes were still closed. She's still dreaming. Now, when Rust is killed, her eyes are RED, meaning that they are probally open. I think Mado was dreaming and just woke her self up by shocking herself shitless in her dream. Sabitsuki, seems to be quite a violent person, especially in Rust mode. Maybe Madotsukdi felt like this was a disgrace, and went ot end her.
Or the maid was just a maid and wanted to save Sabitsuki by killing Rust, because Sabi wasn't Sabi anymore.
