Is it fine to shill here a non-free game I'm working on? (not as the main developer, I'm just an artist making some concept arts for the game and illustrations for the manual, I just want it to get some attention before release).

The game's title for now is "The Wanly", and it's going to be a mix of old Zelda and Resident Evil, made in pixel style. I don't know many details about the game's story yet but it's basically tells about two kids - a boy and a girl - that have found some eldritch thing, and they need to bring it somewhere. I only know for sure that this game's going to be a second part in the unnamed trilogy (Marrow, The Wanly, Exoder) and is suppose to connect the story of the first title with the last one.

As for the gameplay, it's going to be an isometric adventure horror with a bit of RPG (you have quests to do and choices to make that will influence the story). Again, I don't know if it's gonna include any combat, but player would need to solve puzzles and escape the monsters for sure.

The dev hasn't provided me with many screenshots yet, so I'll post the arts in the meantime.

Weird, these look really good when zoomed out but like a mess of lines whenever you zoom in.

Thanks. These pics are going to the manual and will be provided with the info about every monster or char (except the first one that you mentioned that is going to appear in the game). The dev wanted them to look like scribblings of a madman, so the work was just right my way, since I'm kinda suck at drawing clean lines.

The dev has a twitter but doesn't seem like posting there at all (he's opening a steam page soon though, as he said), that's why I decided to promote it by myself.

Btw, as I said before (I think?), he has already made two games related to the same series, Marrow and Exoder. Both are on steam and usually go for a very cheap price on sales.
Just keep in mind that mouse+kb controls are badly optimized (I mean, REALLY badly), and the games better be played with a gamepad.

Btw, the guy with a pipe is the one of those weird guys you meet in Marrow from time to time. That means, yeah, there're some reoccuring creatures and chars from the previous games.
