I'm definitely into the whole indie computer game scene, been following it for a few years. That's the only place that has fun ideas that come to fruition. I love giving those guys money so they keep making cool games.
Pokémon is my main jam
Nintendo stuff and Metroidvanias and older games tend to occupy my time. I like trying out the new things I've never played before, obscure fan translations and browsing HG101. Lately I've been playing SSB4 demo, Minecraft, Castlevania, Live a Live, Azure Striker Gunvolt, Kirby's Dream Land.
I like about a zillion games though. Rez, SotC, DKCR, Mario Paint, Electroplankton, Game Boy Camera, Azure Dreams, Banjo-Kazooie, Megaman - even Battle Network, Shiren the Wanderer, Digimon games, NiGHTS, JGR, SaGa, EarthBound

I haven't been playing a lot of newer games, but if we're talking past, I really loved Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2, Lunar Silver Star Story, Descent, Odyssey: The Legend of Nemesis, most of the 2D Zelda franchise, and maybe a bunch of other stuff I'm forgetting. I'd probably say that Dark Cloud 2 could be my favorite game in memory.

Been playing a lot of Professor Layton recently since I bought Miracle Mask but I started playing LoZ: Spirit Tracks because my sister let me borrow it.
I play like a ton of series mainly those from PS1/2 and DS/3DS (Final Fantasy, SMT games, Vanillaware games, Pokemon, Mario and Luigi RPGs, DMC, Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet and Clank, Elite Beat Agents ect ect)

Funny coincidence, I started replaying Cave Story tonigh–
>besides indie games
fuck
My favorite games are probably Earthbound, Mother 3 and Chrono Trigger. I also love the Ace Attorney series (though I haven't played either of the two newest installments since I don't have a 3DS and can't read moon-runes), Hotel Dusk (I actually got the sequel for my last birthday but I lost my old DS… after getting a new charger for it so I could play it), Pikmin and Pikmin 2 (haven't played 3 due to, again, not having a newfangled console for it) and also some strategy stuff like Galactic Civilizations 2 and World In Conflict. Max Payne is also great. Yoshi's Island has a special place in my heart as the first game I ever beat on my own.

Playing VIRTUAL ON now.
I guess I like games with unusual hardware peripherals eg. pilot's hotas & VR visor for flight sims, arcade sticks for fighters, dance mat for DDR etc.
Planning to do this soon;

Enjoying CUPHEAD; it's old-school gameplay on a modern platform.

Dwarf fortress. I know it seems obtuse but its such a deep and complex game its worth the confusing UI (and the eventual steam release will fix that)

After so much time, Uri released a new game!
And the game comes out without an english translation. In short, this is due to the fact that the game is specific and has an unpleasant plot.

https://twitter.com/analoguri/status/1437748479426654210To be honest, it's a shame that there will be no English translation, because I read omake **and realized that this game undermines the cliches about a happy ending quite well in detective stories.
If you are interested, then here is the link, but there are VERY HEAVY SPOILERS there:
