I would be paid to sit around at home and play video games. Does that count?
If I have to pick a real one I'd pick what I already do, since it fits my limited abilities and intelligence pretty well, and allows me to work around some fairly significant issues. Honestly I probably couldn't do anything else.

I have just kinda been forced into a job and will be applying for a nightfill position (9PM to 1AM) at a local supermarket.
I think I'll need to lie about having a car for transportation, places don't seem to give you jobs if they know you're gonna be walking to and from work that late.

Making new memes
No.15639
… To be honest I don't really understand the fascination with memes. Most of them are weak enough that, if you tried to use them as jokes on their own merits, they'd fall flat as all fuck.
Just something to fill up the void I guess, but there are a lot of more interesting things for that.
Anyway idunno, I wanna get a little cottage out in the woods and write weird shit and send people weird shit, hunt my own food, have a love. (… So be the Unabomber with some slight differences I guess.) If I had to work I'd say construction maybe; get in shape and at the end of the day you've at least made something.

>>15639>… To be honest I don't really understand the fascination with memes. Most of them are weak enough that, if you tried to use them as jokes on their own merits, they'd fall flat as all fuck. No, that's what you call a "forced" meme.
Good, well used jokes are good because they take the momentum of a situation and use it to potentate the idea.
Look at this pic, you can't say it wasn't good back when shit was happening.
No.15643
>>15640Hah, okay, yeah, I see your point, but doesn't it seem like with a lot of people that talk about memes those are the only kind they bring up? Super forced ones I mean.
No.15645
>>15643To be honest, the definition of "meme" blurred a lot in the past years.
I've seen people saying that "sage" is a meme and that it shouldn't be used "to downvote", when it comes from a fucking japanese word that literally means "bringing down" to express your disgust at the topic (下げ).
I personally think of the word in the most negative sense: that's it, forced memes, and I see what you're trying to say. But it's a fact that the steelpipe thing and the whole "youtube is my weapon" (and also the divs) are a meme, even when I prefer to use the term "internal joke".
In the end, the whole "eww that's a meme" thing kinda became a meme in on itself too. I think that it resumes to how well you use the joke. Forcing something is never well received anywhere, specially on *chans. I'd prefer if people tried to use their brain to make a joke instead of recurring to the "safe", old shitty and eternally jerked forced bullshit too.
No.15646
>>15644I know about memetics and all actually, doesn't mean I have to appreciate it when it's all a person's sense of humor consists of.
>>15645Well, yeah. It started off as just a term for a kind of self-replicating bit of cultural information (which is what you could call almost any kind of tradition or common phrase or practice or really a whole bunch of different things), and now it practically just means the same joke or nonjoke that is copied across boards. What that says I'm not certain of but I don't think it's anything great.
Your personal interpretation is good though: "injoke" really does work better for the div/"reason is my boat, youtube is my weapon" sort of thing.
