No.4958
I am ISTJ, but only S by about 12%. I used to test as INTJ all the time. Things change, I guess.
Been a NEET for a year and a half.

I'm an INFP. Is that close enough for you? I really admire INTPs though.

>>495812% is actually quite a bit for these things.
My score between INFJ and INFP are very close, but I fit the traits of an INFP.

I keep getting the letters ISFP in those online tests.

>>5013 I browse it regularly, I myself am in a similar boat I just deal with everything a lot better than other people here so I can actually go out and do stuff. I found work that I can do at home on my computer but I still feel like a NEET.
I browse Uboachan regularly because I know a few people who post here in real life and I also sympathize with everyone here because I went through the same thing when I was younger. I figure if I spread good karma around this website things will slowly look up in peoples lives here.
>>5015Oh the outside isn't that bad, people are. I recommend finding a good spot. Although I know some people are pretty fucked by random chance, with that said they should learn a practical skill online.

>>5021>I just deal with everything a lot better than other people here>I also sympathize with everyone here because I went through the same thing when I was younger. I figure if I spread good karma around this website things will slowly look up in peoples lives here.Ah, so you feel like we're lesser, or suffering and you want to help us? That's cute.
I'm doing very well, actually! Being indoors and doing things you actually enjoy is very peaceful. Being a hiki/neet/no friends/etc is really not as bad as you make it out to be, once you realize that it's ultimately what people live for and you're just skipping the work/interaction part.
No.5053
Oh also, surprised to see quite a few INFJs here. You're excellent to hang around with. For an INTP, at least. Fun to share ideas with, value honesty, will appreciate quietness and not see you as a dead cold creature due to good insight. I love an INFJ dearly.
No.5054
>>5051I don't find you all lesser, it's more like you all are preventing yourselves from shining. Would an E think any human has any more value than another?
Your 1 personal example doesn't change the fact that most people here are unhappy with their lives and their living situation. I've been studying unhappiness in people all my life to the point where I can see how it effects peoples body shape and more, so even if people don't claim to have issues I can see them all. Most people are also blind to their own self and emotions these days as well.
I got out of hell by climbing out of it myself so why should I pity others who are trapped? Slapping people out of their imaginary worlds is what most people need, not pity. There are way too many first world problems here. problems here.
No.5055
>>5054Forgot to say one thing. After a certain point in mental growth you become able to control whether you are an I or an E, so what's the point in being stuck in one?
No.5056
>>5055Maybe intelligent people like us, although thats a huge assumption.
Theres a suprising amount of people who can not stop being an "E" no matter how they try.
>>5045I'll admit with my new medication my J score went down a loooot.
>>5021>Oh the outside isn't that bad, people are.For about 8 months out of the year, its too hot and theres bugs everywhere. I want to live in a cold and wet climate. People are awful and I never want to interact with them. They're better off in my head a just obstacles while I try to find ways that what i'm doing syncs up with my music.
>>5051>It never gets easier. You just get better. If only this were true in the video game world. I still can't fucking complete Air Fortress on the NES yet it takes no effort for most of todays non-indie bullshit games. But that is another arguement entirely.

>>5056When i got over all my negative shit, I realized most of how I felt about temperature was an illusion of the mind and body.
Most people fail to get better at things they want to get better at when they are clouded by negativity. Once I removed all the shit in my brain it was like all the practice I ever had finally kicked in.
No.5061
>>5059Yes it's a bit more complicated. The basis are in the following
https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Introversion_and_ExtroversionI love Carl G.Jung and his analytical psychology, in fact, I have this book around:
http://www.amazon.com/Psychological-Types-Collected-Bollingen-Series/dp/0691018138which I still haven't read yet. It's about all this we're talking about.

No.5062
>>5054A couple of things.
>it's more like you all are preventing yourselves from shining. You, yourself as as ENFJ are happy helping others - or at least doing your best to do so. I assume you enjoy seeing people happy, and being around people in general.
It's just one example, but being around people for extended periods of time drains me out and makes me feel stressed. I must have my space. The time I can spend with others decreases even more if they're loud and self-centered.
People are very different, and while some things [exercise, social activity, traveling, etcetc] might make you shine, completely different things apply to different people.
I am the happiest when I'm alone or with 1 or 2 people that I trust, when I learn things, create something, listen to music…that's just me. My experience - I am not using it as a definitive fact of everyone around me and saying that it must work for everyone, but this, and many variations of it [that are not exactly what makes YOU happy] apply to other people too. So, your definition of happy, or good, is not the ultimate definition for everyone. [Neither is mine. Wouldn't the world be boring if it was?]
>[after a while] you become able to control whether you are an I or an E so what's the point in being stuck in one?Of course, just because introverted thinking is your primary function does not mean you can't feel or express yourself, it's just less developed. You can apply different paths of action depending on what situation you are in. It's all about what's more comfortable and natural to you, and for many it is I, while for many it is E. Diversity!

Yea, i guess im really late to this thread, and wont be surprised if this topic stays dead after my post but, yolo, might as well post
I consider myself an INxx. When i first took the test about two years ago i scored a INFP, and it described me perfectly, but i recently retook the test on two seperate sights and scored INTJ. However, my T score was favored by literally 1%, and my j score was still very low (about 12% if i remember correctly). I sympathize greatly for the INFP side though. I remember that part of my life and it was just so shit, however it has made me grow so much.

INFP here
The only INFPs I think I've known IRL were asses most of the time.
I remember having an INFJ friend who I really hated half the time. I never knew if they felt the same way toward me.
No.5582
I'm in between INFP and ISFJ, but I feel more of an INFP to be honest.
No.5585
Last time I did this I got INFP, but I'm pretty sure it could differ based on whatever mood I'm in. I remember one score being exactly 50%.

>>5062>Diversity!This reminds me of how much I hate it when certain EFJs feel like they have to force their extroversion on everyone else, like being introvert is wrong or something. Makes me mad but I don't say because INP.
No.5605
>>5599That's just how they think. They tend to learn about a certain subject and then, for some reason, suddenly limit the knowledge, because "I KNOW EVERYTHING THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS." and any new information they get is moot. In this case, they saw that it works for them, and maybe some other people they met, therefore it must work on everyone!
It's not ill-willed, they want to help you. It's just hard to understand that you can't be completely, universally right when it comes to such things for an xSxJ.

INTPs, do you suffer from migraines at least once a month?
>>5024I’m just 13% P, but I think it was much bigger, as I spent much time for organizing things and doing them in time. And I’m talking about some daily routine things, like brushing teeth or work at some thing I decided to work on these days at least hour a day. I often feel enthusiastic about optimizing things around me, I rearrange furniture in the house at least once per year, it happens on a whim, though. Most of the time that I spend on optimizing, however goes to writing scripts to enhance i3wm.

Ehhh my personality changes too often for this shit, last time I took the test I was ENFP (the exact opposite of what I am now)
