Does anyone use the Documents folder on their computer to store files? I personally shove everything in pic related on my desktop. How do you store your miscellaneous files on your computer, /n/?

I don't like leaving my data on those because it's easy to access them.
I create alternative folders for music and pictures, since I save documents in another folder inside of pictures. All inside a common partition I can use from both my win and loonix partitions.

I used to worry about the privacy of my data until I realized that nobody cares about it (https://xkcd.com/538/). Nowadays I keep everything as easy to get to as possible so I waste very little time getting to the information I want. Not that I am a person who spends all their time wisely, mind. This is /n/ after all.

I didn't just mean the feds, doge, I also implied other people who may use this computer.
Also, they're just well hidden, no need to encrypt them lol

My 512-bit AES hidden data folders are stored in a very different place and completely camouflaged. You can't ask me for something you don't even know it's there.

I encrypt my porn folder.

It all goes to the desktop, not even a folder, just all of the files everywhere.

 No.14666

I created a folder inside the My Documents folder that I shove everything into. I really need to organize my entire computer. I have found that a good start is redirecting internet downloads to my desktop, so when I click back to it I can put all the new downloads in folders they belong in.

 No.14667

I organize everything by categories and have various work folders and stuff. Everything is super easy to find.

You are a real class A moron. those who work in actual digital forensics would find your "hidden" nonsense in a matter of minutes.

Sure buddy, if they are inside "actual folders", that's for sure. It's not the same if what we're talking about is encrypted and then inserted into other format files while all has been cuntpasted into non-indexable data.
Are you one of those people who believe that "hackers" push a button and things just go the way they want? lol

No forensics department in the world is going to break AES-encrypted anything in less than the remaining lifetime of the universe.

Please refrain from being mean to the people here, a lot of them have had tragic events happen in their lifes.

 No.14774

I don’t because the documents folder is in C:, where the OS is installed, and I have had past experiences of C: going mad or dying and I and other people losing all their shit because it was kept on the documents folder or on the desktop. I keep everything neatly organized on folders created by myself in D:, except installed programs.

 No.14776

I have a million completely unorganized folders and I just happen to remember where everything is
