There's enough world exploration and item collecting for it to be considered one on top of the overall set dressing following the usual formula
All that said I do think it kiiiind of fails as a fangame visually which I guess is the point considering it's meant to be a parody/inversion of what you usually get in these projects and you are meant to get a kick out of that but it really doesn't do anything for me which is a shame because the music also goes in a different direction to what fangames usually do and actually delivers something really memorable
Its a pretty good game all things considered still
