So something that annoys me a bit is that no one mentioned these 2 fangames, at least not once on the new boards.
These fangames are called nostAlgic and Parade.

nostAlgic is actually one of the most frequently updated fangames around, though I think it's sometimes somewhat a small update.
I'm quite ashamed to say that I actually haven't played either games, and as usual my stroll on ubuu is just before I'm going off, so hopefully I'll play both tomorrow (and as per usual, [at least for old ubuu] I'll flood this thread with screens).

For anyone who cares, nostAlgic got an update not too long ago:

Changes include:
-Updated graphics (this includes A's sprite, which is actually now a Mado recolor, though I find that it's easier to see it in some of the lighter areas, not to mention that it has MORE detail than his old sprite if you look closely.)
-"Clock World" and the ending doors were removed from the nexus, meaning that there's now only 2 doors. That being said….
-Some effects were relocated
(The effect that gave me the most trouble was the
tree effect, remember that when you go on the bus in a certain world that there's 3 random things that could happen depending on how the background in the bus looks, 2 of those random things are teleporting you to areas with effects and the other just letting you get off the bus.)
-Also new effect:
frypan effect added. It's located in a world near the
fork effect.
-Ending was slightly altered
-And since Clock world was removed, some of the areas have also been removed (such as the fruitbasket event… sadface)

I'm a great fan of NostAlgic and I was excited when the new update came out…. but I find it totally horrible. I really, really prefer the last one. I think it lost its original atmosphere with the new graphic and for this I'm really disappointed, I find the fork effect really really hilarious now (Forks can fly!!!!)
I also don't understand why it was so necessary changing A's sprite. The original one was so cute….
The only one thing that doesn't disappoint me is the ending. In the last version it was a bit confusing, now It's much clearier.
