A discussion panel, I'm assuming. Which means you could talk about how fans got into the game, what their favorite character is, things that remind them of YN in real life, fangame favorites, etc. Doesn't seem that unnecessary to me, anon.

Even if Anime North is supposed to be a big convention or something, I still don't think Yume Nikki would be that popular among a large crowd. You might be able to find 10 or less people, I'm guessing.

I would offer to be a cohost, I've been to my fair share, and have done some panels before for Touhou project.
but I'm not going to Anime North.

YumeNikki certainly isn't 'popular' anywhere, but it has a good following here in Canada, last year this girl cosplaying monoko told me a surprising amount of people recognized her

I couldn't find any dedicated listed on the 2012 schedule so I figured it would be a part of the aforementioned panel unless I missed something. @.@

I've presented Yume Nikki at a panel as an "indie game". Newcomers find it fascinating and older players are appreciative of the exposure it gets.

Unfortunately, there really wasn't any Yume Nikki-centered/related panels/events.

Catching two Madotsukis, one normal and one cat, totally made my weekend, especially since the cat Madotsuki was pretty cool.

I kind of hoped that the Indie Games panel would have covered the Yume Nikki scene in more detail. Hopefully a more dedicated panel will be held next year.
