Yeah, I thought you were saying you liked my stubble as in 'I think it goes well with the cosplay' type of thing. I'll shave before I take pictures next. I checked out some videos on how to style this quality of wig, so I'll be able to get some pictures of an updated wig in a day or so, hopefully. When I do that, I'll probably try out the make up as well.

M'kay, I'm sure you want criticism.
1. The clawhammer is in the wrong hand. Unless it's just because its a mirror pic, in which case, disregard. Smile's a lefty.
2. Lose the glasses when you're in costume. Durr.
3. The plus tattoos need a lot of work, you need to be able to see them and their shape easily from far away and in any lighting, even if you have to outline them in black. Use some eyeliner or facepaint or something to make them stand out.
4. If you can't get this wig messy, maybe you should get another wig. The shape of the hair is the second most important part of this cosplay.
5. The bands need to be wrapped around your wrists AND your hands, just not your fingers; Smile wears them like grip gloves.
6. Makeup makes a bigger difference than you think. Your skin needs to be slightly pale and dirty-looking.

Personally, I'd just smear a thick coat of red facepaint using my index, middle, and ring fingers for the plus sign thing. Gives it the crazed look, which is what I always think of when I see Smile.

A lot of people like to draw Smile with the plus tattoos with the top and bottom pointy, and while it isn't quite accurate to what lol's artwork shows… it sure does look awesome.

If I were you, I would get a somewhat dark khaki jacket, cut the sleeves, and roll the ends up.
Wear that over a dark red sleeveless shirt, tuck the shirt into your pants, but keep the jacket out.
Lastly, wear the jacket loose enough to flap in the wind, but tight enough to cover the shirt, only pinned together by one or two buttons a little bit above the center.
