I started the series with ep.1, not knowing about 0, and never saw 0 until after season 2. I regret nothing. I imagine the good part of season 2 would just feel like a giant recap of ep.0 to someone who saw it beforehand.

I didn't think it was really that bad, I mean I despised the Endless Eight "arc" and found the rest of season 2 unimpressive, but I loved the movie.
The fact that I love Crispin Freeman's voice probably helps, though.
