I've read this whole thing and I must say that I didn't recall this with .flow. But the main chracter looks like Yagami Light in ideas.
Think of it: He believes to be God, at least God's child and he's extremely clever. But this chracter is more realistic than Kira to me, this chracter is actually a monster. A real monster, who could kill you with no feeling, because he thinks that human life is simply stupid, this type of person thinks that he can punish darkness with darkness because he/she is the one who has realized that these truths do exist, and he can control a very big amount of persons while he doesn't make a mistake.
On the other hand, everything he thinks is caused by his corrupted childhood, which was full of sickness.
As a conclusion, I think you'll agree with me that this type of person can actually exist in our society, and we probably can't notice it.
By the way, we can explain .flow if we think of Sabi as a member of a gang like this.
